Itinerary

Your sacred journey begins with a drive from Delhi to Haridwar. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and relax. In the evening, visit Har Ki Pauri to witness the divine Ganga Aarti, a mesmerizing ritual performed on the banks of the holy river. After seeking blessings, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, begin your journey towards Barkot, passing through the scenic towns of Dehradun and Mussoorie. En route, stop at Kempty Falls, a popular tourist attraction. Upon arrival in Barkot, check into the hotel, have dinner, and rest overnight, preparing for the next day’s trek.

Start your day with a drive to Janki Chatti, the base camp for the trek to Yamunotri. From here, a 6 km trek leads to the Yamunotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Yamuna. Take a holy dip in the hot water springs at Surya Kund before offering prayers. After darshan, trek back to Janki Chatti and return to Barkot for dinner and an overnight stay.

Yamunotri is one of the four sacred dhams, believed to be the source of the Yamuna River. The temple, originally built by Gurkha General Amar Singh Thapa in the 18th century, holds immense spiritual significance.

Early in the morning, drive towards Gangotri, the birthplace of the Ganges River. On arrival, take a holy dip in the Bhagirathi River and seek blessings at the Gangotri Temple. Spend some time absorbing the serene surroundings before driving back to Uttarkashi for dinner and an overnight stay.

Gangotri is believed to be the place where Goddess Ganga descended on Earth. The temple, built by Amar Singh Thapa, holds immense religious significance among devotees.

Today, embark on a long yet scenic drive to Guptkashi, known for the ancient Vishwanath Temple and its breathtaking Himalayan views. Upon arrival, check into the hotel, have dinner, and rest overnight in preparation for the next day’s trek to Kedarnath.

Early in the morning, drive to Gaurikund, the starting point for the trek to Kedarnath. The 17 km trek can be covered on foot, by pony, palki, or doli. Upon reaching Kedarnath, visit the Kedarnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Attend the evening aarti, followed by an overnight stay in Kedarnath (hotel or government camps).

Kedarnath Temple, nestled in the lap of the Himalayas, is one of the most revered pilgrimage sites dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is believed that Pandavas built this temple to seek forgiveness after the Kurukshetra war.

Wake up early to attend the morning Abhishek at Kedarnath Temple. After darshan, trek back to Gaurikund and drive to Guptkashi. Check into the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Yes, helicopter services are available from Phata, Sirsi, and Guptkashi. However, these services need to be pre-booked in advance, and flight schedules depend on weather conditions.
