About This Trip
The Do Dham Yatra is a sacred pilgrimage covering two of the most revered Hindu shrines—Kedarnath and Badrinath. This 6-day journey begins in Haridwar and takes you through the Himalayan landscapes, spiritual sites, and confluences of sacred rivers. You will experience the divine aura of Kedarnath Temple, the thermal springs of Badrinath, and holy spots like Joshimath, Rudraprayag, and Rishikesh.
Itinerary
Upon arrival at Haridwar, meet our representative at the airport, railway station, or hotel. Begin the journey towards Guptkashi, driving alongside the scenic Mandakini River at Tilwara. Visit the famous Ardh Narishwar Temple in Guptkashi. On arrival, check in to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, proceed towards Kedarnath. Pilgrims can either trek from Gaurikund (14 km) or take a helicopter from Phata, Guptkashi, or Sirsi (at an additional cost). Upon arrival, visit the revered Kedarnath Temple and Shankaracharya Samadhi. Check in at the hotel/ashram for an overnight stay at Kedarnath.
After breakfast, explore the nearby temple surroundings by foot. Later, descend to Sonprayag by trek or helicopter. Upon arrival at Sonprayag, take a local jeep to Gaurikund (at your own cost), where our driver will be waiting for pickup. Travel to Phata/Rampur and check in at the hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive towards Badrinath. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and later take a holy dip in the Tapt Kund. Visit Badrinath Temple for darshan and attend the evening aarti. Explore nearby attractions such as Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund, and the Saraswati River. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive towards Rudraprayag via Joshimath. En route, visit Vishnuprayag, the Narsingh Temple in Joshimath, Karnprayag, and Nandprayag. Upon arrival in Rudraprayag, check into the hotel and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, begin the journey back to Haridwar. Stop at Rishikesh to visit Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, and Triveni Ghat. Arrive in Haridwar, concluding the sacred Do Dham Yatra. Drop-off at the airport, railway station, or hotel.

The best time to visit is from May to June and September to October when the weather is pleasant, and the temples are open for darshan. The monsoon season (July-August) can bring heavy rains and landslides, making travel difficult.
There are two ways to reach Kedarnath:
- By Trek: A 14 km trek from Gaurikund to Kedarnath. Ponies, palkis, and doli services are available.
- By Helicopter: Helicopter services are available from Phata, Guptkashi, and Sirsi (additional cost).

The trek is moderate to difficult, depending on fitness levels. It takes approximately 6-8 hours to complete one way. Senior citizens and those with health conditions are advised to take helicopter services.
