Itinerary

The journey starts with a pick-up from Haridwar followed by a long but scenic drive to Joshimath. This 10-11 hour journey offers stunning views of the mountains and valleys. Upon reaching Joshimath, check in at the hotel/homestay, enjoy a hot meal, and rest for the night.

Dinner

Wake up to beautiful morning views and enjoy breakfast before heading to Dhak village (a 45-minute drive). The 5 km trek from Dhak to Guling campsite offers panoramic mountain views and refreshing landscapes. Upon reaching Guling, settle in for an overnight stay at the campsite.

Start your day with a hot cup of tea and breakfast before trekking towards Khulara Top. This gradual ascent takes you through dense forests, offering an incredible hiking experience for nature lovers. Upon arrival at Khulara, set up camp and rest overnight.

Begin the most exciting day of the trek early in the morning and hike towards Kuari Pass. The route is steeper and more challenging, but the reward is worth it. Upon reaching Kuari Pass, enjoy stunning panoramic views of Mount Nanda Devi, Dronagiri, Chaukhamba, Hathi Ghoda peaks, and other Himalayan giants. After soaking in the breathtaking scenery, descend back to Khulara Pass for an overnight stay at the campsite.

After breakfast, embark on your final trekking day towards Auli via Gurson Bugyal. This alternate route offers a different experience, passing through lush green meadows and open skies. Auli is just 4 km from Gurson Bugyal. If you wish, you can opt for a cable car ride from Auli to Joshimath for a thrilling end to your trek (Gondola ride not included in package). Stay overnight in Joshimath.
